West View Healthy Living is currently accepting applications for RNs & LPNs to join our professional care giving team. We currently have PRN 12 hour shift positions available for RNs and FT, PT, & PRN 12 hour shift positions for LPNs. Positions require excellent customer service, communication skills, supervisory skills and the ability to multitask. Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred but new grads will be considered.

Essential Functions:

Meets with members of the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate residents' care. Documents nursing activities accurately and in a timely manner.   Receives and records physicians' orders. Communicates staffing problems and needs to the unit manager. Assists subordinate staff with job duties.   Reports problems and complaints to the charge nurse and unit manager. Provides feedback to nurse managers regarding performance of nursing assistants.

Receives and provides end of shift report. Assists in admission, transfer, and discharge of residents. Serves on and participates in committees as assigned.   Assures nursing assistants comply with policies and procedures.   Reports maintenance and housekeeping needs.   Identifies and reports needs for supplies and equipment.   Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance activities.   Adheres to professional codes of ethics.

Assists with the monthly changeover process working closely with the unit manager in making assignments, promoting efficiency, effectiveness and comprehensiveness of the process. Adheres to professional codes of ethics and Standards of Care for LTC. Ensures all occurrence reports, alleged resident abuse, and resident/family complaints are reported timely and that appropriate follow-up is performed immediately. Immediately investigates resident complaints and resident care incidents. Reports occurrences to the DON, Unit Manager, and Administrator (LNHA), as appropriate. Assures documentation and investigation of incidents and accidents is thorough; monitors for accuracy and completeness. Maintain competencies and improve knowledge and skills through continued learning and continuing education activities. Additional requirements for this and other positions are covered in the Partner Handbook, which may be updated from time to time by the company in its sole discretion. Responsible for a specific or assigned group of resident/patients for delivery of direct care, administration of medications/treatments, charting, reporting to the physician, calling families, essentially meeting the needs of those residents/patients on daily basis. Direct care is defined as bathing, dressings, grooming, and transfers, toileting needs of the residents/patient along with maintenance of the physical environment, appliances, bed-making and room readiness. Will assist QA Nurse with competency checks, infection prevention and control, and miscellaneous tasks.


Current Ohio RN License in good standing. Continuing education or special preparation or experience in gerontological and/or long-term care nursing desirable. Current CPR certificate
